1940s Box Wall phone

These phones were made with wooden writing shelves. Used from the '30s, many are still in use in rural New Zealand on farms and in workshops where two or more phones are linked to form an intercom system.
In mint condition , finding a telephone more than fifty years old and in this good of a condition is a rare find indeed
