Most Bakelite and most wooden phones can be restored to almost original
condition so look carefully in second hand shops, garage sales and flea
markets
The restoration process can include many hours stripping wood or plastic to
prepare surfaces for paint or polish, chemicals are used to gently remove
tarnish from brass and other metals.
Where possible we even fit new decals which are a very good reproduction of
the original decals
Having your phone wired to work, we are able to wire most telephones
produced after 1930 to work with a modern phone line. The early crank
handle phones may be wired to ring and be used as a extension telephone.
To find out whether your phone is worth restoring e-mail us a photo of your
phone along with a list of what you would like done or maybe we can
suggest what should be done
